Concrete Materials, Inc. was founded in 1947 by R. Ed Storms and Sen. Herbert S. Walters and has served the Morristown and surrounding areas for over 50 years with quality ready mixed concrete and supplies. When founded, the company had 2 and 3 cubic yard mixer trucks and cement was loaded into trucks by hand from bags. In the years since, many changes have taken place in the concrete industry.

Currently concrete is delivered in trucks carrying up to 10 cubic yards of concrete and the loading of those trucks is computer controlled. During 1999 C.M.I. updated its equipment by installing a new Vince-Hagan batch plant, updated our Alkon computerized batching controls, and added a 2,500,000 BTU water heater. C.M.I. also maintains a testing lab on site to monitor the quality of its products.

Concrete Materials, Inc. uses the latest in concrete technology and equipment to deliver high quality ready-mixed concrete to all of its customers. Concrete Materials, Inc. also carries a full line of concrete-related supplies and equipment to aid their customers in completing their projects on time and within budget.
